I created this painting from a photograph I took in April when walking down Commonwealth Avenue in Boston.  The bright yellow daffodils and blue pansies were quite a wonderful contrast to the dark door.  It was also a lot of fun to pop in the willow and forsythia branches.  All much anticipated indicators of a New England spring.
